NANDI DHWAJAPATHAM FLIES HIGH ON TEMPLE MAST IN SRI KT_ ధ్వజారోహణంతో వేడుకగా శ్రీకపిలేశ్వరస్వామివారి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు ప్రారంభం

Tirupati, 6 February 2018: The Nandi Dhwaja Patham flied high on the temple pillar in the famous shrine of Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Tuesday in the auspicious Kumbha Lagnam.

The entire ceremonial fete of Dhwajarohanam took place as per the tenets of Saivagama. The traditional flag with the image of sacred bull, Nandi was hoisted on the temple pillar by the temple priests chanting mantras marking the grand commencement of annual brahmotsavams in the temple.
